FALL TREND ALERT!!!

As we know, what was once old is new again.  This fall could not be further from the truth!  These season, the fall fashion calls for all things BAROQUE!!! What is Baroque you say? 

Baroque is a period of artistic style that used exaggerated motion and clear, easily interpreted detail to produce drama, tension, exuberance, and grandeur in sculpture, painting, architecture, literature, dance, and music. The style started around 1600 in Rome, Italy and spread to most of Europe.

What does this mean for fashion?

It means everything is a little over the top! Can't decide which necklace to wear?  Don't worry, this trend lets you wear it all at the same time!

SIT YO BUTT DOWN!!

For some of you who know me (and for the millions of you who don't) I just bought a new house and I am in constant search of a sofa.  

The problem is...I love so many different types of styles, I can't settle on one option.  Luckily for me, I have actually studied design and have a pretty darn good grasp on how to successfully mix and match traditional, modern and contemporary styles...its just deciding on the pieces that has me all in a tizzy!!!

On my search, I spotted these lovely options...and I wanted to share.

Ugh, I effing LOVE HER!

Over the years, SOLANGE, has definitely come a long...long way from being just Bey's little sis.  This chic is doing her and I think that's why she is growing more and more as a star.  Not to mention, her style!  She is the epitome of effortlessly chic.  Whatever she throws on is gold! From a Sunday picnic to a Red Carpet premier, she wows us every time!

Let's not even mention that hair! Without even trying, she has inspired young women of color to let go of the sew ins, lace fronts, etc, and begin to embrace the naturally beautiful you!!!  Although she told Oprah (so its written in stone) that she may in deed, get a relaxer and or weave again, but until then, I am TEAM FRO!!!

CHEERS TO THE FREAKIN' WEEKEND!!!

These aren't your mother's old wine glasses that are collecting dust in that old china cabinet.  Nowadays, people are making more of a statement with stemware.

CHERRY BLOSSOM ALL YEAR ROUND!!

With all the SEPTEMBER ISSUES hitting the stands, it reminds us that fall is fast approaching! Just because temperatures are growing cooler doesn't mean you can't fast forward to SPRING!

Blooming flowers is a symbol of rebirth!  Certain flowers have more significant meanings than others.  One of those are the cherry blossom.
